Profile – Prospect

	Prospect is the largest Union in the UK representing professional engineers. Prospect was formed in 2001 after a merger of two existing Unions, EMA and IPMS. Following the most recent merger between Prospect and three other engineering unions in 2010 (Connect, Association of Licensed Aircraft Engineers and the Guernsey Civil Service Association), Prospect has further strengthened its role as the voice of engineers and scientists in the UK. Prospect is an independent, thriving and forward thinking trade union with more than 120,000 members, in both the public and private sectors, who read Profile magazine. The membership of Prospect is comprised of engineers, scientists, managers and specialists in many diverse areas, from agriculture and environment to defence and transport.
