The Brief:
We were delighted to be asked by UNISON to help them launch a new quarterly magazine for their activist members in the Yorkshire and Humberside region. They wanted a magazine supported by affinity advertising that could really communicate to this important group of members, involve them in union discussions, contribute towards shaping union policy but most importantly be an inspiration to, and celebration of the vital role activists play in the continued evolution of the union. |

How we met the Brief:
Century One relished the challenge and teamed-up with Barrie Clement, formally Labour Editor of The Independent. Barrie manages the editorial process and regularly commissions columns from contributors such as Paul Routledge of The Daily Mirror, Peter Lazenby of The Yorkshire Evening Post. Ed Balls, Ed Milliband, Harriet Harman and Brendan Barber all provide engaging editorial contributions. The clean and smart design supports the UNISON branding and gives readers a clear, concise and respected vehicle for the authoritative editorial, supported by stunning photography and sharp imagery sourced by Century One. We also work with UNISON’s affinity partners to powerfully plan their advertising strategy in the magazine, effectively targeting readers with influence and passion for the Union. |
